So yesterday I sent my very first text message; and then I sent another one. In the wake of these two great technological accomplishments I decided it was time for me to succumb to all the peer pressure and finally create a blog. So... Welcome to The Grimes Family Blog!!!
Scotty and I were married May 20th, 2000.
We have four great kids who are all very cool.
Ezra is seven years old. He loves to draw (especially comic books) and play all kinds of sports. He is a great big brother... and also very crazy.
Samara will be six in October. She loves to read lots and lots of books and play dress-up. She is our sweet little princess.
Spencer is four years old. He is our techno junky; he loves watching movies, playing on the computer, listening to music, etc. But he is also very good at playing pretend. He is just plain kooky, and definitely our family clown. (This is Spencer with his cousin Joshua--they clearly have a lot of fun together)
Elizabeth just turned two on Wednesday. She is a good mix of all the other kids' personalities; she is sweet and cuddly like her sister, silly like Spencer, and (tries to be) a good helper like Ezra. She loves babies, making messes, and taking her clothes off. (We hope she grows out of those last two).
We have a lot of fun in our family and look forward to sharing the crazy, silly, sad, exciting, and wonderful things we are doing.

Welcome to the world of blogging. It looks great! Now all you have to do is REMEMBER to update it. I have found that if I keep my camera in sight at all times then I actually remember to use it. Your kids are darling. It's those crazy pictures that are the funnest to see. Keep up the good work.

So, we were so excited to see you at Disneyland and since we were on a tight schedule (we were following the RIDEMAX plan and you have to follow it to a "t" or you end up having to wait in long lines) we were happy to hear Scott was in with Mickey right where we were going. But then quickly saddened when we never saw him or you guys ever again that weekend. Bummer! Did you have a good time!? I LOVE DISNEYLAND! How is your family? We miss you guys!
