Isaac's Blessing

Last Sunday our little Isaac was blessed by his father. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to have a worthy and faithful priesthood holder for my husband and the father of my children. I always feel the overwhelming love our Father in Heaven has for these precious little ones He has sent me every time Scotty uses the authority God has given him to act in His name to bless them. It is a powerful reminder of the awesome responsibility I have to nurture, love, and teach them. But when I feel the love the Lord has for them, I know I am not alone.

I am also very happy to say that we were all bathed, dressed, had our hair done, and were sitting in church ON TIME! It was the first time this has happened since he was born. We even managed to snap some pictures before we left for church. I'm so glad we did, because otherwise we probably wouldn't have gotten any. Now if I could only figure out how to get all my children to look at the camera and smile (with a real smile) all at the same time.

This really is the best we got of all six of them.

We did manage to get a few adorable poses though.

I really do love these little guys-- they make life so much fun.
